Mississippi River at Winfield. Mississippi River at Hannibal. River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Mississippi River at Canton. * WHEN...From Thursday morning to Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 15.6 feet, North Front Street and the first 2-3 campsites in Mississippi Park begin flooding at this height. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 10.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage Thursday morning to a crest of 15.8 feet Friday morning. It will then fall below flood stage late Saturday morning. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
