* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...Portions of northwest Illinois, including the following counties, Carroll, Jo Daviess and Stephenson and Iowa, including the following counties, Dubuque and Jackson. * WHEN...From late tonight through Saturday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Widespread showers and storms are expected to develop late tonight and last into Saturday. These storms will be capable of rainfall rates between 1-2 inches per hour. Rainfall totals of 1-3 inches are likely through Saturday evening with the potential for localized areas of 3+ inches.
