The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
West Central Kane County in southern Utah...
East Central Washington County in southwestern Utah...

* Until 1100 PM MDT.

* At 851 PM MDT, National Park Service reported flash flooding from
earlier thunderstorms producing heavy rain across Zion National
Park. A gauge at the North Fork of the Virgin River in Springdale
reported flows peaking over 5500 cfs at 800 PM MDT. The majority of
rainfall fell earlier, though thunderstorms in the area could
produce another 0.20 to 0.40 inches. Flash flooding is already
occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE...National Park Service reported.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks, streams, slot
canyons, and normally dry washes.

Zion National Park, Springdale, Keyhole Canyon, Spry Canyon,
