* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Iowa, including the following areas, Buena
Vista, Cherokee, Clay, Dickinson, Ida, Lyon, O'Brien, Osceola,
Plymouth, Sioux and Woodbury, southwest Minnesota, including the
following areas, Cottonwood, Jackson, Murray, Nobles, Pipestone and
Rock, and southeast South Dakota, including the following areas,
Lincoln, Minnehaha and Union.

* WHEN...Until 10 PM CDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Slow moving thunderstorms may lead to rapid rainfall
accumulations. Hourly rainfall rates of 2 to 4 inches are
possible.  This rainfall may lead to flash flooding along with
rapid rises on streams and creeks.
