FFWRLX The National Weather Service in Charleston has extended the * Flash Flood Warning for... Central Gallia County in southeastern Ohio... Southern Meigs County in southeastern Ohio... West Central Jackson County in northwestern West Virginia... Northern Mason County in western West Virginia... * Until 1100 AM EDT. * At 801 AM EDT, emergency management reported multiple water rescues in Jackson County due to thunderstorms that produced heavy rain across the warned area earlier this morning. Between 4 and 7 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, with light rainfall continuing to be possible. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Emergency management reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
