La Plata River Below Redmesa affecting San Juan County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...La Plata River below Redmesa. * WHEN...Until Saturday afternoon. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:30 AM MDT Friday the stage was 6.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage this evening to 9.2 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage late tonight to 5.6 feet Sunday morning. It will rise to 5.7 feet early Sunday afternoon. It will then fall again and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 9.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 9.3 feet on 07/27/1955. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
