* WHAT...For the Extreme Heat Warning, dangerously hot conditions
with high temperatures in the mid 80s to lower 90s at the beaches
to around 100 higher coastal terrain with low temperatures in the
lower to mid 70s. For the Heat Advisory, high temperatures in the
80s and lower 90s.

* WHERE...Orange County Coastal Areas and San Diego County Coastal
Areas.

* WHEN...For the Extreme Heat Warning, until 8 PM PDT this evening.
For the Heat Advisory, from 8 PM this evening to 8 PM PDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat events.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Major to Extreme HeatRisk through today. Warm
overnight low temperature will limit relief from the heat.
