Coastal waters from Savannah GA to Altamaha Sound GA out 20 nm, including Grays Reef National Marine Sanctuary... * Until 600 PM EDT. * At 400 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm producing waterspouts was located over Wassaw Sound Buoy, moving southwest at 20 knots. As of 355 PM, Tybee Island Lifeguard observed a waterspout south of tybee Island. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 34 knots. SOURCE...Life Guard. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include...
