* WHAT...For the Lake Wind Advisory, west winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts to 30 to 35 mph. For the High Wind Watch, southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. Wind prone areas along I-580, US-395, and the eastern slopes of the Carson Range may gust up to 60 to 70 mph. * WHERE...For the Lake Wind Advisory, Washoe Lake. For the High Wind Watch, the Greater Reno-Carson City-Minden Area. * WHEN...For the Lake Wind Advisory, from 2 PM to 8 PM PDT Friday. For the High Wind Watch, from Saturday morning through late Saturday night. * IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create hazardous conditions for small craft. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds will increase Saturday through the morning and afternoon hours, with the strongest winds expected Saturday evening.
