At 300 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Montana City to 9 miles northwest of Three Forks,
moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...71 mph wind gust at the Helena Airport.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Helena, Townsend, East Helena, Montana City, Toston, York, Alhambra,
Spring Meadow Lake State Park, Elkhorn State Park, Winston,
Radersburg, Silos, Clancy, Jefferson City, and Goose Bay.
