Mississippi River at Winfield. Mississippi River at Hannibal. River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Mississippi River at Canton. * WHEN...From late Wednesday night to Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...At 16.6 feet, Front Street leading to the campground and Corps park campgrounds flood at this height. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 8.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Thursday morning to a crest of 15.8 feet early Friday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Saturday morning. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
