FFWTWC The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for... Northeastern Pima County in southeastern Arizona... * Until 315 PM MST Tuesday. * At 912 AM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Flowing Wells, Mount Lemmon/Summerhaven, Sabino Canyon Recreation Area, Catalina Foothills and Seven Falls. This includes the following highways... Route 77 near mile marker 72. Interstate 10 between mile markers 250 and 252. This includes the following Flash Flood Prone Locations... Camino De La Tierra at the Rillito River and Snyder Rd from Kolb Rd to Sabino Canyon Rd.
