For the following areas... Nearshore waters from Sturgeon Bay to Sheboygan... Open waters of Lake Michigan from Sturgeon Bay to Sheboygan... At 553 AM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line from 14 NM southeast of Whitefish Point to 18 NM south of Rawley Point Light, or along a line from 14 NM southeast of Whitefish Point to 16 NM southeast of Manitowoc, moving east at 65 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. This strong thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.
