Coconino County in north central Arizona... * Until 945 AM MST /1045 AM MDT/. * At 627 AM MST /727 AM MDT/, a few hours ago, a river gauge on the Paria River in Utah reported a rapid rise of 4.47 feet from heavy rain over the Paria River, and has started to decrease a couple of feet. This means the flood wave is currently moving through the Paria River within Arizona. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing flash flooding in and around the Paria River. SOURCE...River gauge reported.
