FFWLUB The National Weather Service in Lubbock has extended the * Flash Flood Warning for... Parmer County in the panhandle of Texas... * Until 530 AM CDT. * At 245 AM CDT, thunderstorms were producing heavy rain across the warned area. At 1230 AM, law enforcement reported several county roads were flooded. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 0.5 to 1 inch in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Law enforcement reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
