...The National Weather Service in La Crosse has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Wisconsin...

Kickapoo River at Gays Mills affecting Crawford County.

Kickapoo River at Steuben affecting Crawford County.

Kickapoo River at Readstown affecting Vernon County.

The next statement will be issued late tonight by 1245 AM CDT.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Kickapoo River at Gays Mills.

* WHEN...From this morning to Wednesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Water begins to cover roads near the river,
including Sand Hill Road near Bell Center. Minor flooding occurs in
areas adjacent to the river, including Robb Park in Gays Mills.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 12.8 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 13.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage late this
morning to 13.7 feet this afternoon and remain near this level
through early Tuesday afternoon. It will then fall below flood
stage early Wednesday morning.
- Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 13.7
feet on 08/11/1980.
