At 641 AM MST, Doppler radar indicated that heavy rain has ended for now across the warned area over rural southwest Yavapai County east of Highway 71 and west of Highway 93. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain fell earlier this morning. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Mainly rural areas of Yavapai County. This includes the following highways... Highway 93 near mile marker 188. State Route 71 between mile markers 90 and 99. This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Bullard Wash and Sols Wash.
