...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Nebraska... Little Blue River Near Deweese affecting Clay and Nuckolls Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast to continue. * WHERE...Little Blue River near Deweese, including the reach of the river from near Deweese to near Oak. * WHEN...Until Friday evening. * IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Water overflows rural agricultural land and reaches the base of several buildings located 1.5 miles east of Deweese. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 11.7 feet, which was 1.7 feet above the minor flood stage of 10.0 feet. - Forecast...The river appears to be cresting this afternoon into early evening. It is then expected to slip back below flood stage sometime early Friday morning and continue to slowly fall thereafter. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
