* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of central New Mexico, including the following area, South Central Mountains. * WHEN...From Saturday morning through Saturday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Thunderstorms will develop over the higher terrain late Saturday morning then drift erratically into the nearby lower terrain through Saturday afternoon. Rainfall rates in excess of 2 inches an hour will result in a higher risk for flash flooding on the Ruidoso area burn scars.
