...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Texas... Neches River at Neches River Saltwater Barrier affecting Jasper, Orange, Jefferson and Hardin Counties. Village Creek Near Kountze affecting Hardin County. Pine Island Bayou Near Sour Lake affecting Jefferson and Hardin Counties. For the Neches River...including Town Bluff, Evadale, Neches River Saltwater Barrier...Minor flooding is forecast. For the Village Creek...including Kountze...Minor flooding is forecast. For the Pine Island Bayou...including Sour Lake...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Neches River at Neches River Saltwater Barrier. * WHEN...Until Thursday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 6.0 feet, Colliers Ferry Park is under water, and flooding of secondary roads near the river can be expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 4.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:15 AM CDT Saturday was 4.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 5.7 feet Monday morning.
