FFWCAE The National Weather Service in Columbia has extended the * Flash Flood Warning for... North Central Aiken County in central South Carolina... East Central Edgefield County in central South Carolina... West Central Lexington County in central South Carolina... Eastern Saluda County in central South Carolina... * Until 1100 PM EDT. * At 945 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain in eastern Saluda County. Between 3 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Law enforcement reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Batesburg-Leesville, Ridge Spring, Summit, Monetta, Ward, Hibernia, Kneece, Fredonia, Delmar, Circle Fire Station, Murray, Cedar Grove Fire Station, South Shore Marina, Riverbend Boat Ramp, Lake Murray Shores, Hollow Creek Public Park, Oswald Park, Siesta Cove Marina and Shull Island.
