The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
East Central Pima County in southeastern Arizona...

* Until 430 PM MST.

* At 128 PM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area,
especially with  thunderstorms near Sierrita mine west of Green
Valley. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional
rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area.
Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Sahuarita, Green Valley and East Sahuarita.
