The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Northwestern Sandoval County in north central New Mexico...

* Until 530 PM MDT.

* At 449 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles south of
Torreon Navajo Mission, or 25 miles southwest of Cuba, moving north
at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
Cuba, Torreon Navajo Mission, Torreon and La Jara.

This includes Highway 550 between Mile Markers 47 and 83.
