* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of Illinois, including the following areas, Central Cook, De Kalb, DuPage, Eastern Will, Grundy, Kane, Kendall, La Salle, Lake IL, Lee, Northern Cook, Northern Will, Southern Cook and Southern Will and northwest Indiana, including the following area, Lake IN. * WHEN...Until 10 PM CDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Periods of soaking rain will continue through the afternoon and evening. Rainfall rates may reach 2 inches per hour in localized corridors.
