* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southeastern Lincoln County in central New Mexico... West Central Chaves County in southeastern New Mexico... * WHEN...Until 215 PM MDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Flood waters in Whitetail Canyon will flow into the Rio Felix overnight into Friday morning. Flooding of low water crossings along the Rio Felix are expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1026 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Impacts are expected within Whitetail Canyon, along Picacho Road, including Clements Ranch, in and along the Rio Felix. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
