* WHAT...Urban areas and small streams flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...North Central Clay County in northeastern Florida... Southwestern Duval County in northeastern Florida... * WHEN...Until 215 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1207 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Jacksonville, Orange Park, Middleburg, Bellair-Meadowbrook Terrace, Normandy, Cecil Field, Ortega, Oakleaf Plantation, Lakeside and Doctors Inlet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
