Flash Flood Warning issued September 2 at 11:49AM EDT until September 2

At 1149 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in several
locations from heavy rain in Camillus, Solvay and surrounding areas.
Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen in less than 3 hours.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Syracuse, Baldwinsville, Cicero, Lysander, Pompey, Manlius, Owasco,
Otisco, Skaneateles and Liverpool.

Heavy rain was ending across the area but runoff into small streams
and creeks will continue for the next 1 to 2 hours leading to
additional flooding in the area.
