* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Southern Jewell County in north central Kansas...
Western Mitchell County in north central Kansas...
Eastern Osborne County in north central Kansas...
Southeastern Smith County in north central Kansas...

* WHEN...Until 1215 PM CDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams
continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 254 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
that much of the Warning area had picked up 3-5 inches of rain in
the last 24 hours. Many rural roads are experiencing significant
flooding. Area creeks and rivers will also experience significant
within-bank rises, and mainly minor flooding of main rivers is
also possible. Additional off and on, mainly light, rain is
possible today. Dry conditions return by tonight and will likely
persist for at least several days.

Fifth Creek, Fourth Creek, Turkey Creek, Prairie Creek, Buffalo
Creek, Mulberry Creek, Asher Creek, East Marsh Creek, Marsh
Creek, Rock Creek, Plum Creek, Little Salt Creek, Marshall Creek,
Little Cheyenne Creek, Salt Creek, Dry Creek, Asher Creek,
Antelope Creek, and West Rock Creek.
