FFWSLC The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for... East Central Washington County in southwestern Utah... * Until 515 PM MDT. * At 222 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the Kolob Canyon portion of Zion National Park, including Taylor Creek and La Verkin Creek. Up to 0.75 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks, streams, slot canyons, and normally dry washes. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
