For the following areas... Straits of Florida from Craig Key to Halfmoon Shoal 20 to 60 nm out... At 620 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 30 nm southeast of Wood's Wall East Crack. The strong thunderstorm was nearly stationary. HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots, suddenly higher waves, frequent lightning, and heavy downpours. The strong thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.
