* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of southern Connecticut, including the following area, Northern New Haven. * WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding in poor drainage areas, rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers with heavy downpours may lead to flooding. Average total rainfall amounts are forecast to range from 1 to 3 inches, with localized amounts greater than 4 inches possible.
