* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, northeast winds 15 to 30
kt with gusts up to 40 kt and seas 9 to 14 feet. For the
Hurricane Watch, east winds 30 to 50 kt with gusts up to 65 kt
and seas 12 to 17 feet.

* WHERE...Alenuihaha Channel, Big Island Leeward Waters and Big
Island Southeast Waters.

* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 6 AM HST Friday. For
the Hurricane Watch, starting 6 am HST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Extremely strong winds will cause hazardous seas which
will likely capsize or damage vessels and severely reduce
visibility.
