The National Weather Service in Sterling Virginia has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
Tidal Potomac from Cobb Island MD to Smith Point VA...
Tidal Potomac from Indian Head to Cobb Island MD...

* Until 215 PM EDT.

* At 1214 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 14 nm west of Brent Point to 13 nm southwest of
Aquia Creek to 24 nm southwest of Fairview Beach, moving east at 30
knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Boaters in small craft could be thrown overboard by
suddenly higher winds and waves capsizing their vessel.

Yeocomico River, Breton Bay, Saint Clements Bay, Piney Point,
Westmoreland State Park, Mouth Of The Potomac River, Point Lookout,
