Des Plaines River near Russell affecting Lake IL County.

Des Plaines River near Gurnee affecting Lake IL County.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Des Plaines River from US-41 in Gurnee downstream to
Townline Road in Vernon Hills, including the Gurnee gauge.

* WHEN...From Tuesday morning to late Friday night.

* IMPACTS...At 7.0 feet, Forest land inundated near the river in
Gurnee.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 6:30 PM CDT Monday the stage was 6.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
Tuesday morning to a crest of 8.0 feet Wednesday night. It will
then fall below flood stage Friday night.
- Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
