THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 668 IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM CDT /9 PM MDT/ THIS EVENING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN KANSAS THIS WATCH INCLUDES 14 COUNTIES IN CENTRAL KANSAS ELLIS RUSH IN SOUTHWEST KANSAS FINNEY GRANT HAMILTON HASKELL KEARNY MORTON STANTON STEVENS IN WEST CENTRAL KANSAS LANE NESS SCOTT TREGO THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF DEERFIELD, DIGHTON, ELKHART, GARDEN CITY, HAYS, HUGOTON, JOHNSON CITY, LA CROSSE, LAKIN, NESS CITY, PFEIFER, SATANTA, SCOTT CITY, SCOTT STATE LAKE, SUBLETTE, SYRACUSE, ULYSSES, AND WAKEENEY.
