River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 48 hours. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Missouri River near Chamois. * WHEN...From Monday morning to late Wednesday night. * IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Flood Stage: Lower lying bottom land begins to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 8.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage Monday morning to a crest of 18.2 feet early Tuesday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Tuesday afternoon. - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
