...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 8 PM MDT THIS EVENING DUE TO WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR GOLDEN VALLEY, SLOPE, AND BOWMAN COUNTIES... .Critical fire weather conditions are expected in far southwest North Dakota this afternoon and early evening. South-southeast winds are forecast to increase to around 25 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph. Relative humidity could fall as low as 15 percent. * AFFECTED AREA...Golden Valley, Slope, and Bowman. * TIMING...From noon today to 8 PM MDT this evening. * WINDS...South to southeast winds around 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Relative humidity as low as 15 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
