South Central Valencia County in central New Mexico... * Until 615 PM MDT. * At 529 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles west of Bernardo, or 20 miles southwest of Belen, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Belen, Bernardo, Veguita, Jarales, Casa Colorada, Sabinal, Abeytas and Las Nutrias.
