The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Western Garfield County in west central Colorado...

* Until 915 PM MDT.

* At 619 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area along Highway 139 near and south
of Douglas Pass. Between 0.6 and 0.8 inches of rain have fallen.
The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 3 inches in 1 hour. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
