FFWSLC The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has extended the * Flash Flood Warning for... Southern Kane County in southern Utah... * Until 1030 AM MDT. * At 834 AM MDT, gauge reports indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.25 and 0.75 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring. The gauge on the Paria River at US-89 just reported a 429 cfs flood wave. This will continue to shift down the Paria River, through Paria Canyon to the Arizona border. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Gauges reported. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of slot canyons, normally dry washes, streams, creeks, and rivers. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
