FFWHGX The National Weather Service in Houston/Galveston has extended the * Flash Flood Warning for... Northern Liberty County in southeastern Texas... Polk County in southeastern Texas... * Until 1215 PM CDT. * At 1046 AM CDT, TXDOT reported flash flooding with water over US 59 near Seven Oaks, TX, and Moscow, TX. Between 4 and 16 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area over the next couple of hours. Additional rainfall is expected this afternoon and evening. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Department of highways reported. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
