The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Northwestern Cooke County in north central Texas...
Montague County in north central Texas...

* Until 700 AM CDT.

* At 455 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms continuing to produce moderate to heavy rain across
Montague and northwest Cooke Counties. Radar estimates and rain
gauge reports indicate 3 to 6 inches of rain have fallen overnight.
Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned
area. Flash flooding is likely ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.
