TORCAE The National Weather Service in Columbia has issued a * Tornado Warning for... West central Lexington County in central South Carolina... Southeastern Saluda County in central South Carolina... Northeastern Aiken County in central South Carolina... * Until 645 PM EDT. * At 620 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 9 miles south of Batesburg-Leesville, moving north at 30 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * This dangerous storm will be near... Batesburg-Leesville around 625 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Hibernia, Kneece, Samaria Fire Station, Fredonia, and Camp Kinard. This includes Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 34 and 38.
