* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Espanola Valley and Southern Sangre de Cristo Mountains.
This includes areas near and downstream of the Frijoles wildfire
burn scar.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM MDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be
flooded. Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Deep monsoon moisture will continue to produce numerous showers
and thunderstorms. Stronger storms will be capable of producing
heavy rain at rates of one to two inches per hour. Some locations
will receive multiple rounds of storms. Recent wildfire burn
scars, urban areas, communities with underdeveloped
infrastructure, complex terrain, and locations where the ground
is already saturated will be favored for rapid runoff and flash
flooding. This includes the Frijoles wildfire burn scar, as well
as the Pueblos of Chimayo, Nambe, and San Ildefonso.
