North River near Norwalk Hwy R57 affecting Warren and Polk Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...North River near Norwalk Hwy R57, or from the Madison-Warren County line to the Des Moines River. * WHEN...From late tonight to Saturday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Water is over Iowa 28 immediately south of Norwalk and threatens several rural gravel roads. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 21.9 feet, and falling. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight to a crest of 22.2 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late Saturday morning. - Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
