* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...South central Arizona, including the following areas, Maricopa, northern Pinal, and southern Gila counties including the Phoenix metropolitan area. * WHEN...Until 9 PM MST this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A strong weather system moving through the region will bring widespread showers and scattered thunderstorms this morning before tapering off during the afternoon hours. Moderate to heavy rainfall with localized rainfall rates of up to one inch per hour will be possible this morning.
