Waters from Pensacola FL to Pascagoula MS from 20 to 60 NM... * Until 715 PM CDT. * At 544 PM CDT, a strong thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located 15 nm southwest of Farewell Buoy, moving northeast at 20 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include... Orange Beach, Central Dauphin Island, Sand Island Lighthouse, Gulf Shores Beach, Western Dauphin Island, Farewell Buoy, Petit Bois Pass, Perdido Pass, and Fort Gaines.
