* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...A portion of southern Connecticut, including the following
area, Northern New Haven.

* WHEN...From 6 AM this morning to 2 PM EDT this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding in poor drainage
areas, rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone
locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Showers with heavy downpours and a few thunderstorms early Sunday
morning into midday Sunday may lead to flooding. Average rainfall
amounts are forecast to range from 1.5 to 2.5 inches with locally
higher amounts 3 to 5 inches possible. Peak hourly rates could
reach 1.5 to 2.5 inches.
