FFWABQ The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has extended the * Flash Flood Warning for... Eastern Curry County in east central New Mexico... Southeastern Quay County in east central New Mexico... East Central Roosevelt County in east central New Mexico... * Until 500 AM MDT. * At 245 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated another round of thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 3 inches of rain fell last evening. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area early this morning. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Clovis, Portales, Texico, Dora, Causey, Cannon Air Force Base, Ranchvale, Oasis State Park, Arch and Broadview. This includes Highway 60 between Mile Markers 381 and 397.
