At 241 PM CDT, emergency management reported showers had produced heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Emergency management reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Manhattan, Junction City, Wamego, Westmoreland, Ogden, Onaga, St. George, Milford, Louisville, Circleville, Corning, Soldier, Havensville, Wheaton, Tuttle Creek Lake, Keats and Milford Lake.
